Akhand Ramayana Paath
Sacred 24-Hour Recitation for Divine Blessings and Spiritual Harmony
Akhand Ramayana Paath is a sacred ritual in which the entire Ramcharitmanas is recited continuously without interruption, traditionally completed within 24 hours. The scripture is divided into seven sections — Baal Kand, Ayodhya Kand, Aranya Kand, Kishkindha Kand, Sundar Kand, Lanka Kand, and Uttar Kand — each describing the divine journey and leelas of Lord Shri Ram.
The uninterrupted recitation of the Ramayana creates a spiritually uplifting environment filled with devotion, positivity, and divine grace. This sacred ritual is performed to invite the blessings of Lord Rama, Goddess Sita, Lord Lakshman, and Lord Hanuman, bringing peace, protection, and harmony to the home.
The Paath begins with Gauri Ganesh and Kalash Puja, after which experienced pandits begin the continuous recitation. Devotional bhajans and kirtans accompanied by traditional instruments such as dholak and manjeera may also be performed during the ritual to enhance the spiritual atmosphere.
